Description:

Just before Nate’s fifth birthday, his shadow decides to start acting naughty. No one believes the boy’s shadow is being disobedient. Of course, who has ever heard of such?

His shadow is sneaky. It does not act out in front of adults. When the shadow starts to scare the boy instead of just playing annoying tricks, Nate needs to beg his older sister for her help.

Ava (age 9 “and going on 12”) is good at solving problems and loves mysteries. But the rebellious antics of Nate’s Shadow are not easily solved. Can two siblings work together when they do not always play well together?

Will they be able to hold on to Nate’s Shadow or will it become a runaway to find more fun and adventure with another boy? Where will they find the help and maybe even the special magic they need?
